Cash, Check, PayPal, Venmo, and HSA accepted.
My fee for a standard 55-minute session is $150. I offer a sliding scale for those who cannot afford this full amount. I do raise my fee every year to account for inflation but will provide you with 60 days notice prior to increasing this amount.
In addition to a sliding scale, I currently reserve 3 appointment slots for pro-bono and/or significantly reduced-rate clients.
*Please note that these slots are based on my availability and my discretion. There is no guarantee that I can provide a pro-bono slot to everyone who is interested.
FAQs

Building the clinical relationship is my top priority. If a client doesn’t feel a connection, it hinders the clinical process. It’s important that you trust me.
During our first session, we will go over your treatment forms to ensure all of the necessary information is provided. Please bring your insurance card with you (if you’re choosing to use insurance) and I will collect that information to submit to my biller for claim processing.
After we discuss the legal and ethical guidelines of therapy, we begin our work. I’ll ask you basic questions about who you are—who your supports are, what your hobbies are, what brings you to therapy, etc.. We won’t dive into anything too personal yet! You’ll have the opportunity to ask me questions, too. Some people like to know about my education or work experience.
Together we determine if we’re a good fit and if I’m the therapist who can help you reach your goals.
-
Together we come up with Treatment Plan. We decide on your goals and how we can achieve your goals in therapy.
Depending on your needs, we will choose one of the several evidence-based modalities that I’m trained in. Some clients prefer more structure and homework, while others prefer therapy as a space for supportive processing. Therapy is tailored to your needs. Remember that therapy is YOUR space and YOU are in charge! I can teach you new coping tools and encourage you to challenge your current perspective so that you’re able to live a more fulfilling life. I like to use psychoeducation along the way so you understand why we’re doing the work that we’re doing.
I can collaborate with your other providers, if you feel as though it is helpful to your treatment. I will never communicate with others unless you ask me to and I’ll also have you sign the appropriate release form.
We will work towards you no longer needing me—together, we will decide when you have met your goals.
If at any time you feel as though I’m not a good fit, I can support you in connecting with one of my colleagues instead!
